Not only the difference of one mm to the 39 version will make the difference - this is the answer for all interests, who will build the strongest type 1 engine with serial like optic.
Much more machining on the body, with some extra modfications.
As a replacement for series Solex carburetor also PICT4 VW Beetle Bus & Co.
Made with 40mm trottlebody to tune a serial engine or engines with up to 2500ccm.
Through our experience with the elaborate overtaking of old original Solex carburetor we have decided for a high quality new manufacture of the carburetor.
Extensive trials of the first new carburetors and numerous test bench and driving tests over long periods have developed into our own developed Ahnendorp B.A.S. carburetors.
All gaskets and most of the parts are comparable to those of the original German carburettors.
We use seals that are already suitable for today's E-fuel additives.
The upper and lower parts of the housing are made of a special alloy, so that the housings can not get brittle and run even with high age and external effects.
The modified structure is noticeable by a higher weight.
All cans are precision machined, all nozzles used are digitally tested for dimensional accuracy.
Our carburetors offer appropriate vacuum connections, so that all types of carburetors can be universally covered.
The supplied sealing caps have been specially manufactured in such a way that the vacuum connections (as opposed to cheap replicas) can be permanently closed during operation.
Optionally, we offer an in-house adapter for 1200cc motors for use with our new parts.
We offer our carburetors as a replacement to the previously offered, overhauled carburetors.
We have decided to offer our own carburettors at a particularly favorable price, so that the need for old, defective Solex carburetors can finally be covered by an alternative.

Our carburettors have their own identification with the respective serial number, so a determination of the carburetor delivered by us is possible, and at the same time it provides a guarantee for you to have received an original part from us.
